Veteran Owned & Purpose Driven

Owner's Statement:

Over the last decade I have been truly blessed with the opportunity to learn and grow within multiple successful construction and remodel companies in the Knoxville area. I knew that someday I would eventually take what I had learned and apply it within a company of my very own; and in doing so, combine it with my passion for animals. What I never anticipated were the lessons that I would be able to teach my daughter in the process! Compassion, Humility, Community Outreach just to name a few. As my business was coming together, I would tell my daughter “We are going to make a difference”, and within the first 90 days we hit our first major goal; to feed every animal at our local animal shelter for the next month!

Being able to tell my clients that not only are we going to solve their remodeling problems, but in the process we will be making a difference in our community makes our journey that much more fulfilling!

Jordan Perez (Owner)

With over 21 years of construction/engineering experience, 13 of those years being in Residential Roofing; Jordan has combined his passion for roofing with his love for animals. Jordan graduated out of Farragut High School and 2005 and immediately joined the Navy as an Electrician working within the Engineering Department. After (2) back-to-back deployments he decided to give the civilian world a try and moved his family back to East Tennessee to raise his daughter.

Jordan thrived in a managerial role and became a Department Manager overseeing the Roofing, Plumbing, and Handyman departments of a large home services company based out of Knoxville.

From there, he decided it was time to move on to a smaller company dedicated to Roofing, Siding, and Guttering. Within the first few years Jordan became that company’s top producer, and by year 5 he led the company to its highest-grossing sales year to date!

Jordan and his wife Summer began a multi-year conversation about leaving to start his own company, and in 2023 he did just that. Jordan knew from day one that he wanted to combine his passion for the home services industry with his love for animals to create a truly unique company. The Perez family are the proud parents of TWO Rescue Dogs: through the process, they both came to understand the level of help shelters need to survive and thrive.

Rocky Crawford (Production Manager)

The Man, The Myth, the Local Legend! If you’ve lived in Knoxville for any length of time you’ve undoubtably been laying around on a weekend and heard a god-awful racket outside. You run out to the back porch and look up to see a man buzzing around on a go-cart, attached to a propeller, tied underneath a parachute…. you guessed it… that’s Rocky!

The man if mystery has held a number of jobs over the years; from running arcades across East Tennessee, to his time at Ted Russell Ford one trend emerges, his career has been nothing but customer service!

In the summer of 2021 Jordan had reached out to Rocky to simply ask if he knew of anyone who could fill in as a Project Manager for the roofing company that he was currently working at. It just so happened that Rocky had turned in his notice not 30 minutes prior and was literally walking out the door. A week later Rocky was in the truck with Jordan learning how to be a roofer. Over the years Rocky became Jordan’s right-hand man. When Jordan decided it was time to venture out on to his own, he knew just who he wanted to take care of his customers projects! If you’re reading this, your next step in vetting Knoxville Roofers is to read reviews. I challenge you to count how many times “Rocky” is mentioned in our reviews. We’ll give you a hint, you’ll need allot of fingers and toes!

Alyssa Janssen (Office Manager)

A graduate of West High School, Alyssa went on to earn an associate's degree in Hospitality Business Management from Pellissippi State Community College. With over eight years of experience in the restaurant industry, where she refined her leadership and management skills, she has now transitioned into the construction sector, applying her business insight to drive success in the field. As a true animal enthusiast, she adopted an 8-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier from Young-Williams Animal Center in 2023. This lovable rescue, who adores dressing up, has quickly become a cherished part of her life. In addition, she actively participates in Rescue Roofing’s  volunteering and donation efforts to support the community.

A Company Centered Around Giving Back

Here at Rescue Roofing & Exteriors, we’ve always been passionate about our animals and are currently raising two rescue dogs. Through our experiences, we have seen how much support our local animal shelters truly need. Our core-purpose is to relieve some of the strain placed on our local shelters that rely mostly on donations and volunteers, so that they can focus on the safety and well-being of all shelter animals. We’ve been overwhelmed with support from our clients and have even joined in on some of their charitable causes! Most recently, we have teamed up with Young-Williams Animal Center to help provide them with sufficient food-related needs through year.

Meet Our Rescue Dogs

Chance

Chance is an 11-year-old blue heeler who was brought in by a local hunter. Chance was bred as a hunting dog; after a car accident left him without a leg, the owner asked for him to be put down due to not wanting to pay for the operation.

Now fully recovered, Chance has been given a second “chance” at life, and enjoys being the center of attention!

Bogey

Bogey is a 10-year-old husky mix who was turned over to a local shelter after one too many trips to his owners chicken coop. We brought chance to the shelter to play with the dogs and pick a new brother. Wfter their initial meet, they’ve been inseparable.

Bogey has mastered the art of “the pitiful face”, but rest assured…this dog is spoiled rotten!
